Bandai Namco announced that a demo is available now for their stylish anime fighter JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
The Early access demo is available from June 16 through June 22 and can be downloaded from the PlayStation Story now. The demo features Online PvP and Practice Modes for players to test out. The full game features six playable modes.
Players can get a hang of the game’s fighting system and combos as four characters, Jonathan Joestar, Jotaro Kujo, DIO, and Jolyne Cujoh.
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R is set to feature 50 playable characters from across all 8 current parts of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, from Jonathan Joestar to Josuke Higashikata (or Gappy.) All-Star Battle R features primarily 2D combat on 3D stages, with stages and hazards stylized to resemble the iconic manga.
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R will launch on September 2, 2022, on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch. However, the game will launch on PC via Steam on September 1, 2022, just one day earlier.
An interview with the game’s producer Kentaro Matano was released, stating that there are currently no plans to implement rollback netcode and that crossplay will only be possible between families of systems. So, for instance, only PS4 and PS5 players can play together, as can Xbox One and Series X users.
