JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R Shares Johnny Joestar Character Trailer
Bandai Namco has shared a new character trailer for their upcoming stylish anime fighter, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R. One of the series’ most well-known characters, Johhny Joestar, briefly showcases his combative prowess with his stand and swift maneuvers.
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R is set to feature 50 playable characters from across all 8 current parts of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, from Jonathan Joestar to Josuke Higashikata (or Gappy.) All-Star Battle R primarily features 2D combat on 3D stages, with stages and hazards stylized to resemble the iconic manga.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R will launch on September 2, 2022, on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch. However, the game will launch on PC via Steam on September 1, 2022, just one day earlier.
Those who pre-order the game will receive a bonus Green Dolphin Street State Prison Jacket costume for Jolyne Cujoh. Further, additional editions are available that include a Collector’s Bundle for $99.
The different versions are:
- Standard Edition ($49.99): This includes JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R
- Digital Deluxe Edition ($69.99): This includes Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R, an Animation Special Event Color Set for the following characters (Jonathan Joestar, Joseph Joestar, Jotaro Kujo, Josuke Higashikata, Giorno Giovanna), and the Season Pass, which grants four new playable characters, two exclusive costumes (Rohan Kishibe First Appearance Costume” & “Mohammed Avdol’s Father? Costume”), and two days of early access to all Season Pass characters.
- Collector’s Bundle ($99.99): This includes JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R, an Animation Special Event Color Set for the following characters (Jonathan Joestar, Joseph Joestar, Jotaro Kujo, Josuke Higashikata, Giorno Giovanna), and a Special Color version of the Grandista series Jolyne Cujoh 10 in. statue.
