JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R Adds Final Season 1 Character Alternate World Diego; Season Pass 2 Available for Purchase

Bandai Namco has announced that Alternate World Diego has joined the playable roster of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R as the final Season 1 character, though he can also be purchased separately.

Diego gets a “new fighting style for the Steel Ball Run character as his “Stand” special move is “The World,” famous for its ability to stop time.”

Season Pass 2 is also available for purchase, containing “three characters from Part 5: Golden Wind, Part 4: Diamond is Unbreakable, and Part 8: JoJolion” and the Haruno Shiobana costume for Giorno Giovanna.

The new characters will launch soon, with the trailer stating that paid DLC characters will launch from Fall 2023 onward.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R features 50 playable characters from across all 8 current parts of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, from Jonathan Joestar to Josuke Higashikata (or Gappy.) All-Star Battle R primarily features 2D combat on 3D stages, with stages and hazards stylized to resemble the iconic manga.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R is now available worldwide for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
