John Wick Hex Gets PS4 Release Date After Being Redesigned for DualShock 4 Controller
Good Shepherd Entertainment announced that the Bithell Games-developed adventure John Wick Hex will arrive on PlayStation 4 on May 5.
The publisher shared that the team has worked closely with Ant Workshop to redesign John Wick Hex for the PlayStation 4 DualShock 4 controller. This will ensure that Wick’s movements are responsive to the player’s inputs.
John Wick Hex brings the fight-choreographed action of the films to the gaming medium. Players can make their way through a new storyline with voices from Ian McShane, Lance Reddick and Troy Baker. The game also features an original score from Grammy-nominated composer Austin Wintory (Journey, Flow, the Banner Saga series).
John Wick Hex a Story Mode, with unlockable weapons, suit options, and locations. Each weapon changes the gameplay type and tactics needed to get through an encounter. Also, during the game, ammo is finite and realistically simulated, so reload times must be taken into consideration when approaching an enemy.
The publisher has also released a new trailer for the game to give players a preview of it running on PlayStation 4. Currently, the game is only available on PC and Max and exclusive to the Epic Games Store.
