MangaGamer announced their plans to publish the liarsoft-developed romance visual novel,
Jeanne at the Clock Tower: Jeanne a la tour d’horloge, in the west on PC.
Jeanne at the Clock Tower is an adult visual novel that opens up during the final days of World War II in France. A soldier named Roland stands with his fried Oliver in anticipation of the invasion of Normandy to free their motherland. However, they are forced to land their aircraft after being shot down by the enemy.
The two are then separated from the unit, lost in the forest where they encounter a group of cavaliers. Led by a female knight named Edwalda, the two soldiers are attacked, and Roland dives to cover Oliver and is fatally injured.
However, he ends up opening his eyes to spring and a girl who evidently nursed him back to health. He thought it was a dream until he looked around and realized that he is in a fantasy world that is in the midst of its own war.
Jeanne at the Clock Tower released in Japan in 2016 and features fantasy elements pared with romance and war.
We’ll be sure to keep you updated on the game’s western release.
