About Iwakura Aria
Set in postwar Japan during economic prosperity, in the Summer of 1966, Iwakura Aria follows Ichiko, a girl left behind by society who finds work as a maid for the Iwakura family. Eventually, she crosses paths with Aria, the household’s heir. Within the mansion’s walls lies another world with secrets, expectations, and an eerie history that threatens them both.
Players will guide Ichiko through the mansion, navigating a branching narrative with nine possible endings. Choices throughout the story influence Ichiko’s fate and her life 33 years after the core events.
The exploration includes traversing the mansion via a map system, piecing together key information, and uncovering secrets within each room. Illustrator Hyakunen and graphic designer Nakada Fumi provide character designs and visual direction.
