Irotoridori no Sekai Kickstarter Launched With Physical Goods and Sequel Stretch Goals
Sol Press launched their Kickstarter for the Favorite developed visual novel Irotoridori no Sekai in an effort to localize the title in the west.
Irotoridori no Sekai tells the story of Kanoue Yuuma, a magician with the ability to heal a person’s wounds no matter what they are. However, this comes at a price, every time he heals someone he must give up some of his memories. After discovering a link to another world in a basement, and a strange girl arrives from the sky, this supernatural adventure begins.
Irotoridori no Sekai’s Kickstarter will allow western fans to assist with the localization of the game, which is targeted to release in 2021 due to its size. For $40, players will be able to receive a digital version of the game and for $60 a physical copy is offered. There are other physical and digital goods offered to fans as well. The publisher is asking $85,000, but what’s surprising is the studio has two stretch goals to localize the other two entries in the series if they reach $215,000. If all three volumes are funded, this will ensure that fans in the west get the complete story. In the event that the publisher doesn’t reach the stretch goals, they will need to look for other funding options to localize the other volumes in the series.
Sol Press is planning to release the game on PC-via Steam and Hyourin.
