Irony Curtain Revealed in New Trailer for PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC for 2019

Artifex Muni announced their upcoming title point and click adventure Irony Curtain: From Matryoshka With Love, coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC in 2019.

Players will be able to discover the communist country of Matryoshka through an over the top and satirical story. The game features puzzles and minigames for players to gain the knowledge of the country and its current government, but it mentions in the copy that we aren’t supposed to mention that.

Evidently, players will meet with the Minister of Communication and learn about the production of propaganda. Judging by the press release, the game will feature exaggerated dialog to represent communism throughout the game’s narrative.

Irony Curtain is a point and click adventure, which Artifex Muni studio have established themselves as experts in the field. The studio is known for the Queen’s Quest series, Lost Grimoires: Stolen Kingdom, and a load of other episodic adventures. The studio has over 150 employees working on various projects that fit their individual passion.

Irony Curtain launches in 2019, but you can check out the announcement trailer and some screenshots below:

Author’s take: Ever since Broken Mirror on the PlayStation, I have had a love for point and click adventures. This one seems silly enough to tell a well-rounded story and maybe make me laugh a few times.
