IO Interactive has launched a 25th-anniversary website for their company, detailing its history and culture. Additionally, their games will be updated to celebrate the occasion.
In Hitman: World of Assassination, the Bad Boy and The Food Critic missions will return between October 13 and 23 and October 20 and 30, respectively. Further, the Mills Reverie Halloween Event will return on October 26, and the Codename 47 challenge will be implemented, containing an unlockable retro skin and suit. Then, a Purple Streak Suit will be granted as a Twitch drop to select viewers on Twitch on October 27 via select streamers.
Moreover, the game’s next Elusive Target Mission: The Drop will launch on October 27. Its premise is quoted below:
They will be tasked with eliminating an international DJ-turned-drug lord, modelled on the appearance of world-renowned DJ Dimitri Vegas…
For a limited time, players will get to take part in the unique do-or-die contract. It will be up to them to find the numerous ways to get Agent 47 to infiltrate a Berlin club and eliminate the threat posed by the double-faced musician.”
IO Interactive also announced that Hitman: Blood Money Reprisal, a new version of Hitman: Blood Money developed and published by Feral Interactive, will launch for Nintendo Switch this Winter and mobile devices via iOS and Android “sometime this Fall.
Those already familiar with Hitman: Blood Money will get a chance to relive the game on the go, whilst new players to the IP can experience the famous high stakes infiltration gameplay first-hand.
