Puzzle Platformer ‘Invercity’ Shows Off Gameplay in New Trailer; Switch Version Announced

Flyhigh Works announced they will publish the Marudice-developed puzzle platformer Invercity on Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam in 2022. The publisher has shared that the Switch port will enter development following the PC release. Further, the game will be playable at Tokyo Game Show 2022.

Invercity is a puzzle platformer that features gravity elements where players will use the mechanics of turning the gravity on and off to clear obstacles. This may sound like an easy task, but the levels can often provide some level of challenge to players.

The two important mechanics in the game are Handstand and Inverted Broadcast. With Handstand, gravity for all objects but the character will shift. On the other hand, Inverted Broadcast, turns the level upside down to allow the character to reach new areas. Using these systems will allow players to reach new levels and uncover the mystery of the Handstand Phenomenon that is affecting the city.

The game also features a Streamer Mode that will remove the spoilers within the game. The developer has added that players wishing to post videos should play with this mode enabled.
