Inti Creates Reveals ‘Divine Dynamo Flamefrit’ a Mech Action Game That Is Too Cool to Just Be an April Fools’ Joke

Inti Creates revealed a trailer for a new 2D action game that plays homage to 90s fantasy and robot anime called Divine Dynamo Flamefrit. The trailer showcases an elaborate game with pixel character models and mech action. If this is just an April Fools joke, it’s a really good one.

While we don’t know too much about the game outside of the trailer, during gameplay, players set off on a nostalgic pixel adventure through the fantasy world in top-down view as a young man summoned from another world, Yuuto Hino.
When he encounters a boss battle, gameplay switches to 1st person action aboard his robot companion, Flamefrit.

While in the overworld, players can attack monsters using a sword swipe and spin skills, but boss fights have you transfer into a mech companion, Flemefrit. Here, players can make choices in combat as they ride in the cockpit of the mech.

Release platforms and a release date have not been revealed at this time, but we’ll be sure to reach out to the developer for clarification. This just so happens to be one of those April Fools Jokes that we hope isn’t a joke.
