Indie Adventure ‘I Am Dead’ Revealed for Switch and PC Release in 2020

Annapurna Interactive announced they will publish the Hollow Ponds and Richard Hogg-developed puzzle adventure game, I Am Dead, on Nintendo Switch on PC-via Steam later this year.

I Am Dead is a puzzle adventure from the creators of Hohokum and Wilmot’s Warehouse. The game is meant to give players the chance to explore the afterlife as Morris Luptin, a recently-deceased museum curator on the tiny island of Shelmerston. As he gets accustomed to his ghostly new figure, he meets his old dog, Sparky, and then discovers that a disaster is about to destroy the island that he once lived.

Along with his pet dog, Morris will uncover the mysteries of the island and do whatever he can to stop a volcano from erupting. On his adventure, he’ll meet other ghosts as well as dive inside the memories of people to regain lost memories. As you learn more about the island, you’ll understand different ways to stop the volcano or at least warn the people closets to Morris.

The publisher also released the first trailer giving players an idea of how Morris will take on this task. The trailer also gives players a look at the island and how Morris will use his new supernatural abilities.
