Narrative Adventure ‘In Other Waters’ Gets Switch and PC Release Date

Fellow Traveller announced that the Jump Over The Age-developed narrative adventure In Other Waters, will launch on Nintendo Switch and PC-via Steam on April 3.

In Other Waters has players meet Ellery, who has been called to planet Gliese 677Cc by Minae Nomura. However, when she arrived, the base was abandoned and she finds herself adrift in a strange ocean. With only her diving suit an AI unit she must uncover the secrets of what happened on this planet. Players assume the role of the AI.

Gameplay has players guide Ellery and do their best to keep her safe. Throughout the game, she will dive deeper and explore the underwater alien landscape, which will introduce new hazards and elements to take into consideration. As you discover more about this new world, your knowledge will be tested. The game aims to highlight questions about the nature of “natural” and “artificial” life and investigates what it means to be a human in an epoch of extreme environmental destruction. For life to continue, it must change.

To celebrate the release date, the developer has launched a new trailer that shows the stylish game in action.
