Humble Games released a new gameplay trailer for the Happy Ray Games-developed turn-based tactical RPG, Ikenfell, coming to PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC-via Steam on October 8.
The video highlights characters and gameplay where players can get a preview of some of the interactions between characters and a look at the game’s battle system. Throughout the 12 minutes of gameplay, players can also get an idea of how they can control the three-person parties and utilize their magical abilities during combat.
Ikenfell tells the story of a group of magic students who finds themselves in an adventure with themes of friendship, trust, love, and loss. The game will allow players to create parties of the 3, with six characters available in total. There are 48 different spells to use in battle that include elemental and status damage. Battle has a certain layer of strategy for them as players can move around the battlefield. There are over 100 enemies to encounter along with 22 boss battles.
Players can also explore the environments to discover stronger equipment and magic. If that wasn’t wholesome enough for you, the soundtrack was created by the composers of Steven Universe.
