HYPERDROP: A Pachinko Roguelite Announced by Devolver Digital With Free PC Demo

Devolver Digital and developer Dark Dark Goose have announced HYPERDROP: A Pachinko Roguelite for PC via Steam, with a demo now available.

HYPERDROP tasks players with constructing a pegboard capable of producing increasingly elaborate scoring chains. Runs revolve around choosing where to drop a ball before watching it interact with the board, while upgrades and strategic peg placement provide control over the resulting physics.

Pegs can gain effects that split balls, return them to the top of the board, create gravity wells, and trigger explosions that can trigger additional effects. Balls have their own upgrade options, including increased size, additional bounce, sticky properties, and volatile effects. Different shapes and materials also alter how individual balls behave as they fall.

Players have access to abilities that manipulate a run further, including bending gravity and rewinding time. Progression introduces increasingly difficult stages, modifiers, and boss battles. Additional challenges become available after completing runs, including alternate board layouts.
