Side-Scrolling Action Game ‘Huntdown’ Gets May Release Date on PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC
Coffee Stain Publishing announced that the Easy Trigger Games-developed 2D side-scrolling action game, Huntdown, will launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC-via the Epic Games Store on May 12.
Huntdown takes place in a world where the streets are full of mayhem, and criminal changes rule the city. However, bounty hunters have risen to the occasion to free the town from the corrupt. Players will travel through various environments and take down these enemies.
Huntdown is a comedy arcade shooter where players can play solo or through local co-op. Players can play as three bounty hunters, Anna Conda, John Sawyer, and Mow Man, who have unique abilities and fighting styles. The game features 20 levels and runs at 60fps.
Throughout the adventure, players will need to take out multiple gang units including, Hoodlum Dolls, Misconducts, The Heatseekers, and NO.1 Suspects. They will put up a fight as you enter their territory.
The publisher released a new trailer that shows Huntdown in action. This gives players a preview of the game’s 16-bit environments and characters.
The game will be exclusive to Epic Games Store for one year, with a planned release on Steam on May 12, 2021.
