Dark Action-Adventure ‘Hunt the Night’ Gets Gameplay Overview Trailer Ahead of April Release

Dangen Entertainment released 6 minutes of gameplay of the Moonlight Games-developed action-adventure Hunt the Night coming to PC via Steam on April 13, 2023. The game will launch on PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch later this year.

The gameplay serves as an overview of how players will navigate the world and fight enemies. Gameplay involves using various skills to cross areas and survive light environmental hazards. Further, the skills can be used in combat, where we get a preview of a few different techniques.

Hunt the Night is a skilled-based action game where players play as Vesper, a member of The Stalkers who must explore the world of Medhram. However, this place is not meant for the light of heart as many nightmares reside.

During gameplay, players will fight off enemies using a series of sword combos and dark powers. Players can switch between ranged and melee attacks as they fight against mobs and bosses. The bosses each require strategy as they have their weak points and attack patterns that players will have to learn.

There is weapon customization to create your own build that will adapt to your preferred gameplay and particular bosses. Customize the upgrades of your arsenal and use the equipment that best suits your gameplay: Critical Damage, Life Steal, Poison, Close Combat, Firepower, and more. Collect Sanguine vials, Crow Feathers, Moonstones, and Noctilium to increase your stats and get ready to face the Night.
