Hunt: Showdown Reveals New Map For Early Access Players

Crytek announced plans to launch a new map for their survival bounty hunting game, Hunt: Showdown, during Twitchcon.

During Twitchcon October 26 – 28, the developer will reveal details about the Early Access game’s first map since it launched in February 2018. The map will be called Lawon Delta and is set in the post-Civil War Louisiana. The map will go live after the event to all players, but attendees will have a chance to play the map first.

A teaser video was released giving a glimpse a the new map and setting the theme of the map through slides and zombie hordes.

Hunt: Showdown is a competitive, first-person, multiplayer bounty hunting game. The game mixes PvP and PvE to create unique situations where players will have to work together to survive. Each match includes up to ten players who play solo or in teams. The game requires players to kill zombies for bounties, but after killing one, they’ll become a bounty themselves.

Hunt: Showdown is available now on PC-via  Steam Early Access.

Author’s take: Although I’ve never played Hunt: Showdown, I can’t argue that it is a rather pretty looking game. A game being in Early Access for an extended amount of time always worries me because I’ve been burnt out before on games that were in Early Access for years, some still are.
