Humble Bundle Raises More Than $14 Million for Charity in 2023; $250 Million Milestone Reached

Humble Bundle, a digital retailer committed to positive global impact, has announced a significant philanthropic achievement: raising over $250 million for charity. This milestone was reached with the help of its worldwide community of enthusiasts in gaming, literature, and software, who contribute to various causes with each purchase. The company’s 2023 Social Impact Report, which was also released, details the distribution of last year’s donations, amounting to more than $14.4 million, to over 7,500 charities. These donations support initiatives in Humble’s main areas of focus: Health & Well-being, Crisis & Disaster Relief, Equity & Inclusion, Quality Education, and Climate Change & Sustainability.

Humble Bundle was founded in 2010 by Jeff Rosen and John Graham, who introduced the innovative concept of selling game bundles to benefit charities. Over the years, the company has broadened its range of products and deepened its commitment to charitable causes, making philanthropy a fundamental part of its business model. This approach has resonated with its growing community, underscoring a widespread desire among consumers for business practices that contribute to the greater good.

“We are so grateful to our community and our content and charity partners for helping us fulfill our mission to make a difference in the lives and causes most in need around the world,” said Kamini Tiwari, Humble’s vice president of social impact. “While we’re proud to have brought funding and awareness to some of the most urgent social and environmental issues over the years, more is always needed; we’re looking forward to continuing to tackle these challenges with our community and partners in the years ahead.”

Congrats to the team; we’ll continue to cover bundles as they’re announced.
