After teasing it previously, Developer HoYoverse has finally revealed its latest urban fantasy ARPG title Zenless Zone Zero (or Z-Z-Z for short). This is a 3D anime-style title, which features a fluid, cinematic action-oriented combat system. Players in the game take on the role of a “Proxy”, a special professional who guides people in their exploration of Hollows.
A great many people want to enter the Hollows for their own various reasons, and the “Proxies” are their indispensable partners, who will help you explore the Hollows, battle the enemies inside, and learn more about their story.
In addition to this, the developer revealed that they are now accepting registrations for the Tuning Test, which is a closed beta test so players can provide feedback for the game before it officially releases. The closed beta will be only available on iOS and PC (Windows). More platforms are said to be coming soon. We will keep you updated as more details come regarding the game’s release date, as well as other news.
Contemporary civilization has been destroyed by a supernatural disaster known as the “Hollows.” They grow exponentially out of thin air, creating disordered dimensions where mysterious monsters dubbed the “Ethereal” roam. New Eridu, the last urban civilization that survived the apocalypse, managed to thrive by acquiring the technology to extract valuable resources out of the Hollows.
