1987 Famicom Sci-fi RPG ‘Hoshi wo Miru Hito’ Revealed for Worldwide Switch Release This Summer

City Connection announced that they will release that Another-developed sci-fi RPG Hoshi wo Miru Hito on Nintendo Switch worldwide digitally on Nintendo Switch summer 2020.

Hoshi wo Miru Hito released on Famicom in 1987. The game is a science fiction RPG where characters are able to utilize various psychic abilities to defeat enemies. City Connection gained ownership of the license in 2016, but haven’t really done anything with the series until now. This title is a sequel to another game that features similar psychic themes.

Hoshi wo Miru Hito is an incredibly difficult game, which means that the localization for the title needs to be reasonably accurate if western players are going to get anywhere in the game’s already cryptic story.

The publisher has not revealed any updates for this new release, such as balances to the battle system or additional spots to heal your characters, but we’ll be sure to keep you updated. This is only teased on the game’s website that reads “New Features.”

A new trailer was released showing the game running on Switch hardware, where viewers can preview the game’s battle system and characters. The soundtrack is actually really good for what we hear.

Check back soon for more news on Hoshi wo Miru Hito.
