‘White Day: A Labyrinth Named School’ Receives PS5, Xbox Series X|S & Switch September Release Date

Following the initial announcement, PQube has revealed that their horror adventure title, White Day: A Labyrinth Named School, will be releasing for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X|S on September 8, 2022. Previously, only a general September 2022 launch window was provided.

Further, the PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch versions will have physical releases. Over 30 DLC costumes will be included for Sung-A Kim, So-Young Han, Ji-Min Yoo, Ji-Hyeon Seol, Hee-Min Lee, Bong-Goo Lee, and Dal-Su Son as well. However, the publisher previously confirmed that the Blazblue collaboration costume set would not be present due to licensing reasons. Moreover, save data will not be transferable between the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 iterations.

In case you missed it, the announcement trailer is viewable below:

The White Day entries have been known for their horror and puzzle elements. Players traveled around the school and interacted with supernatural objects to progress. Most of the time, a janitor was roaming the halls, ready to catch and kill you if caught. It was a decently fun game, but it lost some of its novelty over multiple playthroughs.

White Day 2: the flower that tell lies was initially revealed last year. Not much information on that game has been shared other than “Born as a flower, but never was the one. So I became the lie swallowing the truth.”

White Day: A Labyrinth Named School is available for PlayStation 4, mobile devices, and PC.
