Horror Game ‘Shadow Corridor’ Gets A New Trailer Showing The Apparition Defender Mode for the Nintendo Switch

NIS America has shared a look into their upcoming release of Shadow Corridor, showing the Apparition Defender Mode. Already available on PC -via Steam-, the horror title will be released on Switch on October 26, 2021 and will also include all DLCs from the previous versions.

Shadow Corridor is a horror game developed by KazukiShiroma. Using elements of Japanese culture for its unique atmosphere, it has players trying to explore dark corridors and trying to avoid apparitions as they escape randomly-generated areas.

On the way through the labyrinths, the player can gather useful items while also looking for the way out. Trying to reach the exit fast may be hard without any light sources. A flashlight may be the difference between getting stuck in the shadows and getting out in one piece.

However, besides the usual mode, the Switch version includes the Apparition Defender Mode. This reverses the role of hunter and hunted, allowing the player to become one of the spirits of the cursed Noh mask. It’ll be up to you to outwit the humans and keep them trapped in the shadows in a sort of tower defense mode.
