Green Man Gaming announced that the Red Ego Games-developed horror puzzle-adventure, Re:Turn – One Way Trip, will launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC-via Steam on September 29.
Re:Turn – One Way Trip tells the story of Saki and her four friends who are on a post-college graduation vacation. However, one night, she wakes up to discover that her friends have disappeared from the campsite and she finds herself lured to an abandoned train as she looks for them.
The mysteries don’t stop there as past and present begin to dissolve and Saki’s journey to find her lost friends becomes much bigger than she expected. Players will need to solve puzzles and survive some of the horrors brought by the train in order to make it through the adventure alive.
Re:Turn – One Way Trip features 2 playable characters with two different perspectives as the game shifts from past to present. Much like adventure games such as Corpse Party, players can explore the environment as they interact with objects and progress the narrative through dialogue.
A free demo is scheduled to release on Steam from June 16 through June 22 to give players a chance to experience a portion of the adventure.
