Horror Adventure ‘Paranoid’ Debuts Gameplay in New Video

Madmind Studio released new gameplay for their upcoming horror adventure Paranoid, coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam on December 15, 2023.

The gameplay shows off the game’s adventure elements, where players will need to interact with the environement to get through some areas. Further, we get a look at the combat through some strange encounters. I think the hardest thing to follow in this game is the lead protagonist’s actions, but I think that’s the point.

In Paranoid, players have the ability to shape the trajectory of Patrick’s narrative. The choices made in the game will ultimately lead to two distinct paths for the player character. They can either opt to confine themselves within their apartment, grappling with their inner demons, or they can choose to explore the city, setting in motion an alternate sequence of events. This branching storyline results in two possible ways to complete the game, highlighting how the seemingly straightforward decision of staying or venturing out significantly impacts the protagonist’s destiny.

The gameplay features two different paths for the story alongside puzzles and action sequences. Further, the disturbing atmosphere found in the developer’s catalog is also present.
