Horror Action Ghostwire: Tokyo Looks Insane in PS5 Gameplay Trailer
Horror Action Ghostwire: Tokyo made its return to the public sphere when a new gameplay trailer was revealed in PlayStation’s PlayStation 5 – The Future of Gaming livestream.
First revealed during E3 2019, the Bethesada published game will be developed by Tango Gameworks, the team behind the Evil Within games.
Not much is known about the plot of Ghostwire: Tokyo, but it looks insane. After most of Tokyo’s population mysteriously disappears, you are one of the only people left. Equipped with strange powers, you must defeat a strange new evil that has descended upon Japan’s capital.
While we at Noisy Pixel had once thought that the game might be a survival horror like its developer’s predecessor The Evil Within, the new gameplay trailer made it clear that players will have ample power to fight the supernatural evil in Tokyo.
The enemy forces in Ghostwire: Tokyo appear to be influenced by both Japanese myths and internet horror stories, with headless school girls and faceless monsters resembling Slender Man everywhere. While we aren’t entirely sure yet what the story will hold, the gameplay looks tense and exciting.
Players can “Face the Unkown” in Ghostwire: Tokyo when it comes to PlayStation 5 in 2021.
