Horgihugh and Friends Soars Onto Switch This June

Midway through today’s NewGame+ Expo showcase, Horgihugh and Friends, an adorable horizontal side-scrolling shooter, was given a Western release date.

Horgihugh and Friends takes place after a huge war. When Gozareans attack, two experienced pilots, Hugh and Figaro, must once again hop into their fighter planes to battle off the fearsome aliens.

Developed by PiXEL and published by Aksys Games, Horgihugh and Friends is set to release on June 16 for the Nintendo Switch in the West. Interestingly, Horgihugh and Friends features artwork by Kou of Shantae fame, and music by Motoaki Furukawa of Metal Gear and Policenauts fame.
