Honkai Star Rail Shares New “Ichor of Two Dragons” Animated Short

Developer HoYoverse has recently published a brand-new animated short for their space-faring RPG Honkai Star Rail. Titled “Ichor of Two Dragons”, the video showcases as Dan Heng fights the spirit of his previous incarnation, Dan Feng, whose actions led to an incident known as the Sedition of Imbibitor Lunae, causing him to be banished from the Xianzhou. The animated short was produced by miHoYo Anime, with Fantasier Animation and RED DOG CULTURE HOUSE handling the co-production.

In the Year 4800 of the Star Calendar, the five lineages of the Vidyadhara made alliance on the Yuque, putting their sacred vow into writing. “This oath shall remain unbroken, standing stronger than even earth and steel.

In the Year 7379 of the Star Calendar, the Imbibitor Lunae Dan Feng caused turmoil that threatened the sacred wood. The Cloud Knights joined forces with the Vidyadhara Preceptors to assault him.

He dreamed of shouldering his responsibilities, performing the ritual dance gracefully, and sealing the Ambrosial Arbor.
He dreamed of stepping into a battlefield where sharp blades and arrows fell like rain, and meted out punishment from the sky.
He dreamed of being chained between jade pillars, pierced by long nails, sealed in darkness. He dreamed of wandering aimlessly in the darkness, chased by lurking shadows.

In all the dreams, he was a dragon, a hero, a sinner, but never a person with love, hatred, sorrow, or joy like everyone else in this world.

Honkai: Star Rail is a space fantasy RPG title with a journey through immense worlds of the unknown. The game features fantasy elements with myths and legends integrated into the space sci-fi story. Combined with the intuitive turn-based combat system, large maps with maze exploration and immersive storylines that together compose an interstellar melody filled with surprises and rewarding experiences that echo throughout the universe!

Implanted with a Stellaron, the protagonist bravely sets sail for the galaxy to drill down to the truth revolving around the so-called Cancer of All Worlds. Players will be able to experience a vast universe abundant in distinctive cultures, landscapes, and scenery. From the Herta Space Station, where the knowledge reserve of the universe and the forthcoming journey has been granted, to Jarilo-VI, where numerous dangers and conflicts are frozen beneath the snow, to Xianzhou Luofu, the silkpunk flagship infused with eastern fantasy where development and dispute are focusing on the topic of immortality.

Honkai: Star Rail can be downloaded from the official website, App Store and Google Play. A PlayStation version will be coming soon on Q4 2023.
