Honkai: Star Rail Announces Final Closed Beta Test Early February 2023

HoYoverse has just announced that their upcoming Honkai: Star Rail game will officially open up registrations for the final closed Beta, which will be happening on February 10, 2023, on Android, iOS, and PC. Players interested in signing up can do so via the developer’s official website. Although no release date has been revealed, it’s safe to say that the game should be fairly close to completion, following the developer’s track record.

In the Final Closed Beta, players will be able to try out new characters such as Bailu, Yanqing, Qingque, and Tingyun, who all make their first appearances, as well as explore the brand-new Xianzhou Laofu area. Furthermore, players will also be able to try out many fresh in-game features that will be in the final version.

Xianzhou Luofu is a gigantic dreadnought belonging to the Xianzhou Alliance, one of the universe’s most powerful and influential factions, and the second stop of the Trailblazer’s grand journey, featuring a bustling cityscape and splendid architecture. Honkai: Star Rail features a game world awaiting discovery with elements of myths and legends blended into the space sci-fi story. In this universe, there are the Aeons, incarnations of universal principles that can freely travel between infinite worlds using some kind of primitive force.

The galaxy is packed with worlds that have unique landscapes and stories; the Aeons roaming the universe uphold their own beliefs, among whom there is the Destruction, who regards the universe as a fallacy and civilization as cancer, casting seeds of ruin called Stellarons across the galaxy.

The protagonist, who was implanted with a Stellaron, embarks on a trip aboard the Astral Express with a group of passengers who claim to have inherited the spirit of the Trailblaze, pursuing the trails of Aeons to explore the realms of the universe. The expedition progresses as the protagonist and the crew seek the ultimate answers to the journey’s purpose and unearth secrets buried in legends.
