Honkai Impact 3rd ‘Cutting Dreams at Dawn’ Version Update Releasing September 2023

HoYoverse has just announced that the Version 6.9 update of their Honkai Impact 3rd game will be coming next Thursday, on September 14, 2023. In this Version Update, titled Cutting Dreams at Dawn, bringing along the second half of Part 1.5 of the Main Story, which mainly puts the spotlight on Fu Hua and this unexpected reunion brings the strongest sense of surprise in her long life.

In Story Chapter XL Seven Karma Phala, Captains will be fighting alongside Fu Hua using three different battlesuit modes in a new city called Phosphorus. The battlesuit of each damage type possesses a distinctive exploration skill that helps Captains swiftly uncover pivotal clues in the main story.

The new S-rank battlesuit Miracle ☆ Magical Girl, Sirin, is a Mech-type Fire damage dealer who wields a chakram. While in battle, she can transform the chakram into scissors, and simultaneously restore Starry Faith that leads to the reduction of damage taken while sustaining her Iron Body state.

Sirin can also cast different Joint Weapon Skills, dealing Fire damage and applying Ignite Trauma to enemies hit. As for her Ultimate, Sirin creates an illusory space to trap her enemies, then with a cut of her scissors, she will shred the illusory space and cast Fire damage to all enemies trapped within.

Furthermore, the approaching summer event marks the climax of Captain’s storyline and serves as the final chapter. The Magic Girl’s enchanting narrative continues, unveiling a grander scheme at play. All clues point to Theresa, codenamed Luna. Follow the event to find out the truth to come! Beyond the exciting plot, this event also presents delightful chibi-style maps that offer different adventures, fun challenges, and plenty of different exploration mechanics, and of course, bountiful rewards.

Last, but not least, Honkai Impact 3rd will be collaborating with the popular anime series PROMARE, in a special event coming September 2023, featuring two new outfits and a limited-time event where players can complete missions to earn PROMARE Kindlings for the bingo card-flipping game and win the collab stigma PROMARE: Flame (B) and more!

One of the collab outfits is [Burning Rescue Soul] for Ai’s Chrono Navi, and it takes significant design cues from Galo, another character from PROMARE. While keeping her iconic red pants, the upper part of the outfit draws inspiration from Galo’s mecha design. Notably, the horns on Ai’s head are made to resemble alarm lamps, which are based on the first form of Galo’s mecha and his role as a firefighter. Besides, the mecha skirt on her back is inspired by Galo’s mecha helmet.

The other collab outfit is [Born in Flames] for Herrscher of Flamescion. The overall design gives off a punk vibe. Her distinctive cape is a fusion of her own fiery attributes and the angular, vibrant flames unique to the animation in PROMARE. The style and color scheme, along with elements like her bow tie and cyan accents on her greatsword, draw inspiration from Lio, a character in PROMARE. Both outfits will be available in the Outfit Shop, with limited-time discounts during the event.

Honkai Impact 3rd is set in a modern world corrupted by mysterious energy known as Honkai. A tenacious resistance formed by Valkyries, brave girls carrying anti-Honkai genes, leads humanity in a war of survival and fights for everything beautiful in the world.
