Playism and developer Crimson Dusk have announced that their 3D bullet-hell action game Homura Hime will be available today on PC via Steam with a 10% two-week launch discount off the normal $24.99 price. A launch trailer commemorates the occasion.
Steam also offers the soundtrack separately, containing 82 tracks, and it is available in a discounted bundle with the game.
During gameplay, you’ll join Homura Hime in battling archdemons possessed by deviant emotions, uncovering the truth behind these formidable foes and her own past.
The game boasts flashy combos, requiring you to parry and dodge enemy attacks. As you progress, you’ll learn new skills and strikes.
Developed by Taiwanese indie team Crimson Dusk, formed in May 2020, Homura Hime started as a solo project by Sam, who revealed its prototype at a contest in 2018. The game is set in a world where humans and demons coexist, with archdemons threatening to corrupt the world.
The High Priestess sends Homura Hime, the Flame Princess, and the strongest exorcist, along with her aide Ann, on a divine mission to purify the world and defeat these demonic threats. As you navigate this world, you’ll face five extremely powerful demon girls.
A Switch 2 release is confirmed for this year.
