Hitman III VR Gameplay Gives Us a Front Row Seat to the Action
Square Enix released a new docu-style trailer for the IO Interactive-developed Hitman 3, which dives into the recently announced VR support of PlayStation VR.
The video shows new gameplay with some details provided by the developers. This mode will allow players to assume the role of Agent 47 and approach gameplay like never before. It was show how players will be able to peek around corners and blind shoot. Or hide in the grass, but be just as lost as the enemy. The first person perspective makes this a completely new experience for Hitman players.
Furthermore, those who own the previous titles will be able to import locations from the game to play in VR. This gives players access to over 20 VR stages.
Hitman III is the sequel to Hitman 2, which was released in 2018 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The game built on the previous installments where players travel the world and eliminate high-profile targets. How players approach missions is up to them as there are multiple ways to approach gameplay. Players also have access to a variety of gadgets that they can take into a mission to get to their objectives in style.
Hitman III has a planned release window for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on January 2021.
