Horror Visual Novel ‘Historia’ Releases Chapter 1 on PC
Lucid A96 announced that their doujin horror visual novel Historia Chapter 1, is available now on PC-via itch.io for $5.
Historia Chapter 1 takes place in a town called Penrith, which resides on the outskirts of Sydney. This is a town where the generation that is growing up dreams of when they can leave. The story focuses on Doug Lovett, a student who is only a few months away from the end of high school, with a university on his mind.
However, one night he finds himself at his friend’s house to vent, which is when things began to change. This town contains a silent threat lurking in the shadows. Some believe it is an ancient being that doesn’t pay mind to humans. However, something has provoked the creature, and now Doug will need to figure out how to get home alive.
In a blog post, Lucid A96 lets visual novel fans know that the development of Historia is entirely volunteer ran, and no one on staff is working on the game full time. Furthermore, the game is self-funded and only asks for donations; Historia’s demo is available now for PC and Mac. Clicking the link will begin downloading the game.
