PQube has revealed the western release of Him, the Smile & Bloom. The otome visual novel will be available on Steam and Switch on Q1 2025. While the game’s already available in English on the Nintendo system, it was only released on Japanese territories.
Him, the Smile & Bloom tells the story of four couples of young adults whose relationships are still budding. Their romance is also centered around a flower shop where some of the characters work.
Flower language is one of the elements that tie with their romance stories, and the personalities of the boys and girls. Their love will feature different twists, some being more sweet or steamier than the rest.
Unlike the usual for other games in the genre, there isn’t just one heroine and multiple bachelors. Instead, each couple is fixed with a specific heroine and love interest.
There are twelve endings, showcasing different developments for the couples in Him, the Smile & Bloom. Each story has three possible futures depending on player choice.
Him, the Smile & Bloom‘s story was planned by Uta Amemiya (Charade Maniacs), with designs by Y at (Cupid Parasite) and direction by Natsumi Arai. Along with the announcement, PQube has shared a trailer featuring the opening theme, Lady Flower, performed by mao:
