High On Life Now Available on PS4 & PS5

Squanch Games has launched its FPS game High On Life on PSN for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 for $59.99. The title was previously only available on Xbox and PC. The PlayStation 5 version supports the “Vibration function and trigger effect” via the DualSense controller.

High On Life prioritizes comedy in its science-fiction world, and it was created by Justin Roiland, primarily known for the animated series Rick and Morty. The gameplay has players utilize guns called Gatlians and a knife with sentience, which all have unique utilities requiring one to take note of the environment.

In our review, we described the title as the following:

“High on Life knows what it wants to be and delivers that experience to players who likely want the same thing. The level of humor and writing is on another level. Still, you’ll want to pace yourself, if only not to grow tired of the waves of enemies you’ll encounter, which is thankfully broken up with platforming sections and standout interactions.”

The game is definitely an acquired taste, but those who are compelled by its sense of humor will find something special here if given enough time.

You can purchase High On Life on PSN now if you’d like.
