Hidden Bats ARG Reveals Survival of Lumina Rikyu & Mariha Monzen

Following the decision game announced by the AI: The Somnium Files – nirvanA Initiative Hidden Bats ARG Twitter account yesterday, the Twitter accounts for Lumina Rikyu and Mariha Monzen have tied in their follower counts. As a result, both girls survived.

The Sunaiku Foundation updated with a post stating the following:

Earlier today, our Missing Persons Task Force found and rescued Ms. Mariha Monzen and Ms. Lumina Rikujo along an area of coastline in Aomori Prefecture. They were discovered lying on the beach and delivered to the police and emergency services. We have been told they are in good health both physically and mentally, and their families have been contacted.

We are proud that our actions led to this favorable outcome. We will continue to find missing persons with renewed vigor and resolve.

Further, the next phase of the ARG will begin on June 2, at 7 PM PDT/ 10 PM PDT.

AI: The Somnium Files – nirvanA Initiative shows an event where the right half of a corpse was discovered, but the left half was never found until six years later. However, the body has shown no signs of decay, as though it’s only a day old. New special agent Mizuki and her AI partner Aiba are tasked to solve the Half Body serial killings. Kotaro Uchikoshi is confirmed to be the Scenario Writer. Hardcore fans can pre-order the game’s Collector’s Edition, which has a bunch of goodies.

AI: The Somnium Files – nirvanA Initiative is releasing for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, and PC on June 24, 2022.

AI: The Somnium Files is currently available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
