Frontier Works and Emma Create have announced their city-building X idol simulation game Heroic Songs: The Remix for Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam on September 15, 2025.
Players start their adventure on a field beneath the World Tree, with the goal being to develop the Idol Fanctuary by placing various structures and roads. Eventually, fans and concerts will emerge as growth is achieved, resulting in the capability to build larger venues for performances.
Idol activities are essential for overall progress, featuring rhythm game-style performances, stage building, recipe acquisitions, and more. As all of these tasks are completed, new story chapters are unlocked, following protagonist Akari Sunohara, who adores idols. Five main heroines are featured via dedicated character stories.
In the plot, the player was enjoying a performance by top idol Ruri Tsukuyomi before waking in a new world. You and Akari have arrived here, a dimension called the Void, with seemingly no way out. The two are guided by the flower spirit Moku-san, and the only way to escape this world is for Akari to become a top idol herself. In this world, idols are performers who can restore connections between realms.
Prospective players can anticipate language support for English, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, and Japanese.
