Romance Visual Novel ‘Hello, Goodbye’ Unbanned on Steam With New Release Date
NekoNyanSoft announced that the Lump of Sugar developed visual novel will receive a Steam release on April 18 after being pulled from the only storefront.
Hello, Goodbye tells the story of a young military officer who is impersonating someone name Toubu Kaito. However, as he has begun his mission of infiltrating Tenshudo Academy, he quickly learns that some things just aren’t adding up. Throughout the story, Kaito will discover more about himself as well as the characters that he meets along the way.
Located on the Steam page, the publisher details the mature content of the game, noting: The game has a few illustrations with very mild nudity and dialogue that contains sexual jokes and implications. Also, every appearing character is over 18 years old.
Hello, Goodbye was previously pulled from the Steam store during a round of Steam’s poorly timed regulations that finds some developers who haven’t broken the rules without a store page. This move was most likely done because of the young looking characters and the fact that this is an eroge visual novel. The game was instead released on similar online storefronts.
However, it seems like the developer has worked it out with the platform and got their game back on Steam.
