Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice in Digital Hell No More, Physical Release Available Now on PS4 and Xbox One

505 Games recently teamed up with developer Ninja Theory to release their action adventure game Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice to retail.

Once a digital-only title, Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice follows a Celtic warrior named Senua as she embarks on a vision given quest to save the soul of her dead lover from Viking hell. The game was created to show the struggles that Senua will go through as she struggles to keep sane.

During gameplay, players take on the role of Senua and explore the dark environment. Being a bit narrative driven, the exploration parts are full of story as players learn more about Senua. Players also travel to several locations and must complete light puzzles, but this is an action game so while doing all this Senua will have to fight zombie-like Viking enemies and bosses.

The physical release of the game will be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with Microsoft publishing the physical release of the latter. The publisher released a new gameplay trailer to celebrate the retail release and give players a preview of what they can expect if anyone was holding out on purchasing the game because it was physical only.

Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
