Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice Now Optimized for Xbox Series X|S; New Trailer Shows Updated Visuals

Ninja Theory has released the optimized version of Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice on Xbox Series X|S for players to experience the game with updated graphics.

This version of the game features enriched visuals, DirectX Raytracing, resolution mode, and other tweaks to performance.

Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice follows a Celtic warrior named Senua as she embarks on a vision-given quest to save the soul of her dead lover from Viking hell. The game was created to show the struggles that Senua will go through as she struggles to keep sane.

During gameplay, players take on the role of Senua and explore the dark environment. Being a bit narrative-driven, the exploration parts are full of stories as players learn more about Senua. Players also travel to several locations and must complete light puzzles, but this is an action game, so while doing all this, Senua will have to fight zombie-like Viking enemies and bosses.

Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

Currently, the developer is working on Senua’s Saga: Hellblade IIwhich doesn’t have a release date but is being developed exclusively for Xbox Series X.
