Romance Adventure ‘Haven’ Launches Free “Sweet Little Things” Update

The Game Bakers have launched a free update for their adventure game Haven, available now PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

Titled, Sweet Little Things, the update adds:

• Two new costumes for Yu & Kay: “Streetwear” the hot style in the street, and “Top/Truth” inspired by the style of their origin planets
• The meloglide, to choose the track of Danger original soundtrack to listen to
• A new kiss animation for the beloved couple
• A concept art gallery to discover artworks from the making of the game
• Many quality of life improvements based on players’ feedback

“What’s nice about making unique and niche games is that they keep attracting players over a long time. That’s why we continue improving the game. We’ve received lots of amazing feedback from players and we put that love in that first update for them and all the players to come.” says Emeric Thoa, the studio Creative Director.

The game reached over 700,000 downloads, including those who picked it up on Game Pass. The game is currently 40% off on PC, the eShop, and PS Store. A physical release is planned to come from Limited Run Games.

During Haven, players will meet Yu and Kay, who have escaped with each other to a forgotten planet. The two are lovers who must learn to survive in this strange new place, which means they’ll have to do their best to survive.

In gameplay, players will guide Yu and Kay at the same time over the plains as they explore the world around them to collect materials. However, they aren’t the only living being here and sometimes might encounter dangerous beasts.

During battles, both characters will take part in a rhythmic battle system. Furthermore, while the game has a single-player mode where both characters can be controlled simultaneously, there is also a co-op mode for a second player to jump into the adventure and glide around.
