Have a Nice Death Has a Nice Early Access Launch Trailer

Magic Design Studios and Gearbox Publishing have released the Early Access launch trailer for their upcoming 2D Metroidvania, Have a Nice Death.

Posted on the Have a Nice Death YouTube channel, the trailer gives players a look at some of the comedic cutscenes, as well as the stimulating hand-drawn 2D visuals. Players also get a peek at some of the imposing bosses and various mystical abilities that they’ll have at their disposal.

Throughout the game, players will be able to level up their iconic scythe, while also taking advantage of over 30 different weapons and spells. Keep in mind that this is a rogue-lite, so your unique abilities will be vital to subsequent playthroughs as the game goes on.

Have a Nice Death puts players in the role of the titular Death, the founder and CEO of Death Incorporated. Despite feeling burnt-out, Death must battler his employees, the Sorrows, after they flaunt the rules on Earth. If he doesn’t, the paperwork will continue to pile up endlessly, which isn’t great for burnout.
