Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Mega39 Brings Miku to Switch, But Only in Japan for Now
Sega released the first trailer for Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Mega39 (also known as MegaMix), a new entry in the rhythm series in developed on Nintendo Switch.
The trailer actually begins by showing players a timeline of the previous Hatsune Miku titles which have been released across consoles and arcades. Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Mega39 will bring the series to Switch and feature 101 songs, which mostly include songs from the game’s history. Additionally, players can customize their experience with over 300 costumes and additional new game modes that are exclusive to the Switch.
Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Mega39 stars Hatsune Miku and her friends and has players tap to the beat of songs as they view a nicely animated video of Miku in the background. Usually, she can be seen dancing or walking around town, it’s basically a music video. The Switch version will have exclusive content that will be announced at a later day, but we can assume that the game will take advantage of the Switch’s Joy Con.
Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Mega39 has not been announced for a western release but considering her popularity, it’s only a matter of time and personally, I can’t wait.
Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Mega39 is scheduled to launch in 2020 in Japan on Nintendo Switch.
