Sega has unveiled the official concept artwork of Hatsune Miku in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds.
This illustration set details the numerous alterations made to Miku’s default design, emphasizing greater ease of traversal and contrasting the skirt she typically wears. Her footwear, jacket, and headphones are highlighted by their individual design processes.
Five crossover songs with Hatsune Miku have been added, too.

About Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds
Players can build and customize their machines, unlock gadgets, and unleash power-ups solo or with friends in multiple offline and online modes. Cross-platform matchmaking enables up to 12 racers to compete simultaneously, regardless of their platform.
The roster includes various Sonic characters, with more to be added through free post-launch updates, such as Joker, Kasuga Ichiban, and Hatsune Miku.
At launch, the game features several modes: Grand Prix with multiple cups, World Match ranked online battles, customizable Friend Matches, Time Trials, and the party-focused Race Park. Local split-screen multiplayer supports up to four players, while full online matchmaking supports up to twelve. A new Rival System assigns rivals who taunt across Grand Prix events.
Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC via Steam, and Nintendo Switch. A Nintendo Switch 2 version is also in development, scheduled for a digital release during the holiday season 2025 and a physical release in early 2026.
