Hashihime of the Old Book Town Append Demo Now Available on Switch

Dramatic Create has announced through its official Twitter account that Hashihime of the Old Book Town Append now has a demo on the Switch eShop. The pop mystery BL game was released on PC by MangaGamer on September 26, 2019. The new version will be available on Steam on December 16, 2021, featuring new short stories, an option to record dialogues, a music player and the option to switch between languages.

Hashihime of the Old Book Town tells the story of a young man called Tamamori, who starts working at an used book store in Jinbouchou after failing the Imperial University exam. However, instead of studying properly, his undisciplined self starts getting delusional with dreams of one day becoming a big writer.

When weird events start happening around him, the limits between fiction and reality will start to crumble. It’ll be up to the player to do their best to investigate what’s going on in this rainy town and see the story through to the end in its multiple routes.

While the new version of Hashihime of the Old Book Town will feature extra stories, which fans will likely be looking forward to reading, keep in mind this new version is also all-ages. The original BL game on PC featured 18+ content that was not removed even in the Steam release.
