Harvest Moon: The Winds of Anthos Announces DLC & Season Pass Featuring New Chapter, Marriage Candidates & More

Natsume has just announced additional downloadable content for Harvest Moon: The Winds of Anthos. Players can purchase these to enhance their gameplay experience with new animals to befriend, new marriage candidates, and even new seed types. The DLC can either be purchased separately or acquired via the Season Pass for $14,99. Each DLC pack will be gradually released after the game’s release.

The first DLC is the Animal Avalanche Pack, which will be available from September 26 for $2.99. It includes ten new wild animals that players will be able to find, befriend, and care for in Anthos, such as magical unicorns, pandas, Akitas, and small-clawed otters. The infamous Sasquatch will even make an appearance.

The second DLC is the Visitors From Afar Pack, available from October 17 for $12,99. This more expensive DLC will allow players to play through an entire new chapter in the game as you help visitors from the Verne Trading Company adapt to life on Anthos. This will add a brand-new bachelor and bachelorette: the CEO Charlotte and her stoic assistant Jaques, and you’ll also be able to get steampunk-inspired Verne-style outfits and furniture.

The third DLC is the Tool Upgrade & New Interior Designs Pack, available from November 7 for $2,99. This DLC will allow for further customization of the interior of your house with three new fabulous design themes, which you can mix and match them up to your heart’s content. You’ll also be able to upgrade your hoe, watering can, hammer, axe, sickle, fishing rod, and pickaxe an additional level, making growing crops, fishing, and mining a breeze.

Lastly, we have the New Crops, Fish, and Recipes Pack, available from November 28 and also costing $2.99. This DLC will unlock 12 new seed types (4 crops and 8 flowers), 6 new fish, and 15 new recipes to try out. All of the DLC I’ve mentioned can be acquired as soon as it’s out with the Season Pass, which costs $14.99. A bundled version of the game that includes the Season Pass can also be purchased for $64.99.

Harvest Moon The Winds of Anthos DLC4

In Harvest Moon: The Winds of Anthos, players will explore a land known as Anthos, which is home to the Harvest Sprites, spirits that protect people and nature, as well as the goddess of nature known as the Harvest Goddess. About 20 years ago, an unprecedented eruption in Anthos’s volcanic region forced the Harvest Goddess and her Harvest Sprites to use all of their powers to protect the people.

The people were saved, but the eruption left the villages cut off from each other. Believing that the separated villages and people would one day be reconnected, the Harvest Goddess sent a bottle into the ocean with a letter and a magic key, then fell into a deep sleep. Players will be able to find and care for a variety of animals, including traditional farm animals like cows, chickens, sheep, and horses, but will also be able to befriend pets like parakeets, owls, and rabbits, as well as wolves and Bengal tigers! Players can also ride their horse (or other mounts) to travel around the region.

Furthermore, it is possible to grow a variety of crops such as corn, giant squash, and pineapples, as well as beautiful flowers including hibiscus and tulips to run a successful farm! Players will need to collect seeds from around the world with the help of the Harvest Wisps to grow both regular and rare crops. Harvest Moon: The Winds of Anthos will be releasing September 26, 2023 on consoles and PC via Steam.
