Halo: Reach Receives December Release Date on Xbox One and PC
During Inside Xbox, Microsoft announced that the Bungie-developed first-person-shooter Halo: Reach will launch on Xbox One and PC will release on December 3.
The Xbox One version of Halo: Reach has been updated to 4k visuals along with additional improvements. This will be the first time the title has been available on PC, and the studio plans to bring the entire series to the platform in the future. The game will also be available to Master Chief Collection Xbox Game Pass users on Xbox One and PC.
Halo: Reach was released on Xbox 360 in 2010 and acts as a prequel to Halo: Combat Evolved. During gameplay, players assume the role of the newest member of a group of six elite soldiers. During the game, players will need to investigate the ruins of a planet known as Reach which has just been invaded by Covenant forces. This is no easy task as the events seem to lead the squad through some heavy realizations which impact the mission. The game was released to critical acclaim and fans still seem to enjoy it today, which is why this release on Xbox One is so hyped.
