Halo Infinite Showcases Master Chief’s New Grapple at Xbox Showcase

This morning’s Xbox Showcase began with a brand new look at Halo Infinite, the latest game in Microsoft’s flagship series. The gameplay showed series protagonist Master Chief exploring a lush green environment taking down a litany of brutes and grunts along the way.

The gameplay showcased Chief using loads of weapons, including fan favorites such as the plasma pistol. Interestingly, Chief was also wielding a grapple of some sort, using it to traverse around the environment and take down enemies.

The gameplay ended with a particularly intimidating looking brute threatening chief, telling him that this is his “last fight.”

Following the gameplay, Chris Lee, Studio Head of Halo Infinite at 343 Industries, stated that players would be exploring a brand new Halo Ring that is several times larger than the last few Halo games combined. Infinite will be optimized for Xbox Series X and will be running at a steady 60 frames per second.

Halo Infinite will be coming to Xbox One, Windows 10 and Xbox Series X holiday 2020, presumably at the launch of Xbox Series X.

We will be sure to keep you updated on Halo Infinite as more information becomes available.
