Halo Infinite Blasters Coming to Nerf’s Armory This Fall

I’ve been into Nerf and Halo for the 15 years. It’s only fair that now, as an adult, I’ll be able to spend part of my paycheck on an officially licensed Nerf Needler. Hasbro announced they’ll be bringing three Halo-themed weapons to toy store shelves in October, including the iconic assault rifle (the MA40), the Needler, and a weapon new to Halo Infinite the SPNKR.

The assault rifle is a flagship blaster, utilizing four C batteries to fire off the blasters 10-dart clip, according to Gamespot. Those batteries will be housed in the front of the blaster, but will make it feel nice and weighty the way I always imagined it in Master Chief’s hands. The blaster will also come with a code that unlocks a color scheme similar to the nerf version of the AR in Halo: Infinite. The blaster will run fans $50.

The Needler and SPNKR will be coming to Nerf’s Microshot line, so you can pick these up and display them on your office desk (or use them on unsuspecting coworkers) for $10 each. Though we’re not sure how the SPNKR will function yet in the game, in real life it will fire a single dart and carry two darts in reserve. The Needler (pink mist not included) will not feature homing crystals, but instead two darts, but the silhouette of the blaster is pretty unmistakable. It’s important to note, however, that these are all blasters based on the Halo Infinite version of the guns. So don’t be surprised if their updated looks seem jarring to you.

All three of these blasters are set to be released on October 1. If you’re wondering what kind of quality you can expect, Nerf has other video-game based blasters out right now from Fortnite and Overwatch. Hopefully this AR will make cosplay more accessible too as Halo hype ramps up in preparation for the upcoming title.
