CyberConnect2 is continuing the 20th anniversary celebrations for .hack//G.U. with newly drawn character artwork and commemorative merchandise for the series and the second game, Reminisce, specifically.

To commemorate Vol. 2‘s anniversary, CyberConnect2 shared two new illustrations. Character designer Seiichiro Hosokawa illustrated protagonist Haseo in his 3rd Form, while Itsuki Hoshi contributed an illustration of Ovan.

CyberConnect2 has also produced a separate 20th anniversary illustration by Hosokawa, bringing together the members associated with the Eight Phases. The artwork is currently being displayed as a panel at the traveling CyberConnect2 Exhibition.

Several pieces of anniversary merchandise are also being released. A .hack//G.U. 20th Anniv. multi-mat featuring the commemorative artwork is priced at ¥3,850. Eight wire acrylic keychains based on the Eight Phases are available for ¥1,200 each at the CyberConnect2 Exhibition merchandise area.

Another merchandise collection is planned for winter 2026. The .hack//G.U. IF glitter acrylic stand series will consist of six designs featuring newly drawn illustrations by Hosokawa.

The upcoming artwork is themed around Haseo’s interactions with his companions in “The World.” Across the six illustrations, different forms of Haseo will appear alongside 17 characters in total. CyberConnect2 has revealed one of the six illustrations ahead of the merchandise release.
